A snapshot of guest ratings and stories behind the stay.
“I recently stayed here from Dec 31-Jan 2. This hotel was in a super convenient & safe location! 4 minutes from South Park mall & all of the restaurants. The price was a little high but I think that was due to the holiday. I got a king studio. Pet fee is $100(non refundable), parking $10 a day. Breakfast was pretty good just your average hotel breakfast. There was one small roach in the shower, killed it and didn’t see anything else. Otherwise it was very clean. Pet owners are usually booked on same floor. Overall I would definitely stay again.”
“I chose this location because it was close to where I was conducting business. When I arrived, I was greeted by the gentleman at the front desk named Rayquan. I'm not sure if I spelled that correctly. He was very pleasant and professional, and he made sure I got checked in and directed me to where I needed to park, where my room was, and about breakfast. When I got to my room, I was pleased with it. It was clean and didn't smell wet and mildewy like some hotels. The only thing I didn't like about my room was the very dim lighting in the kitchen/living room area. On top of that, none of the plugs worked where the couch and desk were. The lamps on the tables didn't work as a result. I couldn't charge my phone while sitting on the couch watching TV, so I had to place it on the dinette table to charge it because that was the only plug out there that worked. I was pleased with the bedroom and bathroom part of the room. In all fairness, though I mentioned those things, I did not contact the front desk to let them know about the sockets or lighting. I stayed there from that Tuesday and checked out that Friday. They offered free breakfast. My first day, getting breakfast, they had both turkey and pork sausage, which was a plus because most hotels don't cater to those who can't eat pork. So, I appreciated them having turkey sausage for me to eat. They also had bagels, oatmeal, cold cereal, yogurt, fruit, juices, milk, and coffee. I'm not sure if they serve meat every day, because one morning I went to get breakfast and there was no meat or eggs out when I went down there. Also, parking was a bit confusing, as there was no clear guidance on where to park. You would definitely have to figure out which garage to park in. There were also two levels to the parking lot, which was confusing. Would I stay there again if I were to visit Charlotte? Absolutely! I enjoyed my stay there. It was very convenient to the mall and other eateries in the area, and the staff was pleasant.”
“Stayed one night, excellent experience. The check process was easy. Front desk staff was beyond polite and helpful. Parking is a little odd at this location. The room was very clean. Residence Inn locations get a lot of long-term traveler use and this one was kept up well. The breakfast was organized and again, the staff was very nice! Location is perfect if you have business in the Southpark area. Would absolutely stay in again and recommend.”
“As I am staying here for an extended period of time, I would say my experience thus far has been nothing short of exceptional. The front desk, room and housekeeping is impeccable. Centered in the heart of SouthPark, everything is within close proximity. Enjoy your stay here, I know I am.”
